Commstatus Always Displays "Initializing" on ATV & Ranger Twins when Using the SmartLink Module

Description: The Commstatus Window in the lower-left portion of the screen always displays "Initializing", even though the SmartLink Module is connected to the Diagnostic Connector and the PC Serial Port.

Cause: This problem can be caused on some PC's if the Serial Port the SmartLink is connected to is not configured for high-speed communications.

Solution: Read the SmartLink Communications Port Configuration Article and adjust the port configuration as described.
