Version: Digital Wrench 2.08
Operating System(s): Windows 95
The Digital Wrench Software displays strange characters in some of the text, eventually generates a "runtime error" and shuts down.
When testing Victory Motorcycles, the Engine Temperature displayed on the Data Display is not correct, (too low).
The PC is running Windows 95.
These problems are caused by new vehicle database formats in version 2.08 software which are not compatible with Windows 95 in some instances.
Modified versions of several Digital Wrench files are now available which will eliminate these problems in most versions of Windows 95.
It is important to note that there are some versions of Windows 95 which are simply not compatible with the Digital Wrench software and the only way to get the software to function is to upgrade to a newer version of Windows. Future versions of the Digital Wrench software will most likely no longer work on Windows 95.
If you are using Windows 95 and have the problem described above, download and run the update below. If this does not eliminate the problem, the version of Windows 95 you are using is not compatible with the Digital Wrench.
Do not install these updates if you are not using Windows 95!
