When the Digital Wrench
is started, a Runtime Error message comes up which has a very large number
after it as well as some additional messages.
example: "Runtime Error 2147467259" Specified Driver Could not
The specific number of the
error is not as important as the fact that it is a long list of digits.
These errors usually come
up the first time the software is run after it is installed, or after some
other type of software application has been loaded on the PC
These types of Runtime Errors
are caused when a failure has occurred in the Microsoft Data Access Components,
(MDAC) part of Windows. MDAC is used by many applications to provide information
from various databases. When the Digital Wrench tries to access one of
it's databases, Windows displays an error message to indicate that an MDAC
error has occurred.
Refer to the MDAC Procedures
& Solutions section for additional information on how to find and
fix problems with Microsoft Data Access Components of Windows.
